Showers of Blessing is here to nourish the lonely hearts of millions of Chinese people around the world

Today, SOBEM still holds on to the same initial vision that God has given to the organization.

In 1987, SOBEM (Canada) was established in Toronto, Canada, as a media organization committed to preaching the gospel through mass media. SOBEM travels across the world to produce Mandarin and Cantonese television and radio programs that are broadcasted in over 50 countries and regions, including Canada, the United States, Asia, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The production of the television and radio programs is dedicated to sharing the gospel with Chinese people across the globe.

In 2001, SOBEM (HK) was established as a charitable organization in Hong Kong with a local office and a board of directors to expand the ministry. Since then, SOBEM (HK) has been broadcasting Christian testimonies every week through the Hong Kong TVB channel, radio channels, mobile applications, and the Internet. The organization also established telephone hotlines to provide care for viewers and gifted program CDs to many church congregations and Christians in Hong Kong to sow the seeds of the gospel.

In 2026, SOBEM (Australia) was established as a charitable organization in Sydney with a new office and board of directors to further expand the ministry. SOBEM (Australia) will broadcast Christian testimonies weekly through the Australian TVB Jade channel, 2CR Radio channel, mobile applications, and the Internet. SOBEM (Australia) will partner with many churches and believers in Australia to sow the seeds of the gospel.

Sharing the Gospel with Chinese Communities Everywhere through Mass Media

• SOBEM will share the truth of the Bible to Chinese people around      the world through television, radio, mobile applications, the Internet, and      print media.

• SOBEM will produce gospel-centered testimony videos and other      media products, distributing them for free across different platforms to      share the gospel and promoting them worldwide as evangelistic tools for churches.

• SOBEM will accept invitations from churches, schools, and other      organizations to lead evangelistic meetings and share the gospel.

SOBEM (Australia) is grounded in the Christian faith. Our mission is to broadcast the gospel through various media platforms and the sharing of real-life stories.
